Time Thief Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

Time Thief is a puzzle game published by WebiSity Studio. This policy describes the Android app. The game is intended for ages 13 and above.

Data in the app

The core gameplay works offline and collects nothing. The game stores your progress, stars, sound preference and age category on your device. This information is used to resume your game. The app does not require an account and does not send this information to WebiSity Studio.

Android's built-in backup service may include this app data in your device backup. This helps restore your progress if you switch devices. You can control Android backup in your device settings.

The Android app includes the Google AdMob SDK to offer optional rewarded ads for hints. The SDK may collect and share data with Google when it is initialised, when consent is requested, and when a video is watched. This data may include your IP address (used to derive approximate location), app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics, and device and advertising identifiers. This data is used for ad serving, analytics, and fraud prevention, and is encrypted in transit. We request non-personalised ads. We do not run our own analytics or offer in-app purchases. See Google's privacy policy for details of Google's data handling.

Google may retain collected advertising data according to its own retention policies. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling removes on-device data, but does not delete data previously transmitted to Google. You can manage your Google advertising data through your Google account settings.

Intended audience and age treatment

The game is designed for ages 13 and above. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

When you first request a hint, the app asks whether you are under 18 or 18 and older. Your choice is stored on your device and is not sent to WebiSity Studio. If you choose under 18, the app sends an age-appropriate-treatment signal (TFUA flag) to Google in ad requests so that ads are served with conservative content filtering. No exact age or birth date is shared. This derived signal is included in ad request metadata sent to Google.

Your choices and deletion

You can clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app to remove game data stored on your device. This also resets your progress and age category. You can open the in-app Ad privacy choices button when a Google privacy form is available, and manage your Android advertising ID in device settings. To request deletion of data Google has already received, use your Google account controls.
